The 35th GIREA conference is organized jointly by the Geography and History school of the Complutense University in Madrid, and the Institute of History of the CCHS (CSIC).

Coordination on behalf of the UCM will be carried out by the research group Territorial delimitation and borders in Ancient Greece: the role of religion in inter-poleis conflict (UCM 930100), represented by Miriam Valdés (PhD, Professor) and Fernando Notario (MA, PhD researcher).

On behalf of the IH, coordination will be in the hands of the research group Social Structure and Territory-Landscape Archaeology, represented by Inés Sastre (PhD, Tenured scientist), Alejandro Beltrán (MA, Phd researcher ) and Guillermo Reher (MA, PhD researcher).
