There are several possibilities to reach the CCHS and Hotel Velada from the airport
1) You can take bus 200 at the Airport (serves all terminals), drop at the Canillejas stop (ask the bus driver to let you know when you get there). Then take the Metro at Canillejas. You have to reach Suanzes (two stops from Canillejas). Suanzes is at walking distance from the CCHS (5 minutes)
Total estimated time: 35-40 minutes
2) You can take a taxi cab (around 15 euros)
Total estimated time: 15 minutes (it may take longer during rush hours)
3) You may take the Metro in the airport (line 8). It takes much longer and you have to change lines twice (at Colombia and Nuñez de Balboa) before reaching Suanzes.
Estimated time: 1:15 minutes.
If you travel by train (and arrive in Atocha), you may prefer to use the Metro
1) Take line 1 to Gran Via. Switch to line 5 to Suanzes.
Estimated time: 50 min.
2) Transportation by taxi during rush hours is not recommended.
Estimated time: 40 min (from Atocha to CCHS).
